Xolo X900 Review Features Specifications

Lava International Ltd, an Indian Company will be the first one to bring the XOLO x900 smartphone running on Intel's Medfield processor.

The Lava Xolo X900 is absolutely identical to Intel’s Form Factor Reference Design (FFRD). The phone is fairly solid and you will hardly find anything lacking in the fit and finish of the device. The design takes obvious cues from the iPhone, right from the chrome ring around the border to the general design direction among other things. A headphone jack and power/standby key can be found at the top of the Xolo phone.

Powered by Intel® Atom™ 1.6 GHz processor with Hyper-Threading Technology and 1GB RAM makes the XOLO X900 work on lightening speed. With such processor you can enjoy high graphics games without any time lag. There is less chances on hang up in the phone operations. Everything is at a blink of an eye.

Xolo X900 comes with advanced 8MP HD camera, with LED Flash and with photo-burst mode that lets you capture images quickly, the company claims 10 photos in less than a second in one click. Thats something amazing, you will never miss a pic even in the action or sports mode. For video calling there is a 1.3MP front facing camera, which is placed above the screen.

The good news for hardcore game players is that the high speed 400 MHz graphics engine provides rich and immersive 3D gaming with super-responsive graphics. Combined with the high resolution 1024X600 pixels display, XOLO gives you a full HD video output on the go.

Lava Xolo X900 sports a 4” WSVGA (1024×600) screen which corresponds to about 300ppi. Below the screen there are 4 capacitive touch buttons which are fairly responsive. The phone also supports NFC.

On the right side there is a microSIM similar like iPhone. It requires the use of a similar tray ejector tool. Below the micro SIM tray is the dual stage camera key. Stereo speakers can be found on both sides at the bottom of the phone. The back of the phone has a soft touch matte finish in contrast to the shiny gloss up front.

Packed with rich specs and features Lava Xolo X900 does a good job, but some key things in which it lacks is like no expandable memory card slot, though it houses 16Gb inbuilt. Also it runs on Android Gingerbread, while others have already rolled their sleeves for Icream Sandwitch. Lava Xolo X900 is priced at Rs22000/- and is now available in the market.

Kobian IXA Tab Specs Review Price

This year we are seeing many tablets flooding in the market, especially from Indian Manufacturers. Today we have another made India tablet- Kobian IXA. Kobian has come up with a low cost tablet which is worth for its specs. Talking about Kobian company, its one of the leading entity in computer peripherals. Earlier it had launched its Mercury tablet series.

Kobian IXA Tablet is very budget friendly and comes at just Rs.3999/-. Reviewing the Kobian tablet, you can surf internet, play games, watch videos, play your favorite music, read ebooks and much more. The tablet carries WiFi, and you can also connect to 3G by externally connecting the dongle.

The Kobian tablet weighs about 341gm. One disappointing factor you may have that, the tablet comes with Android 2.3. Which is not latest, when the world is opting for Ice Cream Sadwitch OS. Also the Tablet comes with a resistive touchscreen, no to the Capacitive one. IXA tab sports a 7" inch resistive touchscreen. Kobian has powered the tablet by a 1 Ghz processor, and has a 1 GB RAM. IXA tablet also hosts a 4Gb internal memory, which can be expanded upto 32 Gb.

Kobian iXA Tab supports a wide range of audio formats such asmp3, wav, wma, aac etc. It also supports video formats such as avi, mp4, mov, 3GP and many more video formats. The tablet has a VGA 0.3MP front camera, and you may miss the rear camera.

On the launch, Sushmita Das, Country Manager of India, Kobian Ltd says, "We have had immense success with mTab range , the launch of iXA Tab is for our young students and generation who would want to have the ownership of a tablet . Over all reviewing the Kobian IXA tablet, the tablet is priced fairly low, but the disappointing factor lies because of the outdated OS and the resistive touchscreen

HTC EVO 3D Price, Review in India, Features and Specifications

HTC EVO 3D is the first 3D phone by HTC. Its 3D unique feature distinguishes it from the other smart phones. Dimensions of the EVO 3D is 4.96" x 2.57" x 0.44, its fairly thinner than LG optimus 3D, but not as thin as Samsung Galaxy S2, which is considered the best Android phone so far. HTC EVO 3D weighs 170 gms, which is slightly heavier than other smart phones in the market, which weigh just around 110gms. Currently, the users ignore the obstacle of using large size mobiles, just because they are not hefty enough, due to their light weight, but HTC here seems to ignore the weighing aspect.

The HTC EVO 3D runs on Google Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. EVO is powered by a dual core 1.2 Ghz processor, with 1 Gb RAM support. Thus, with the faster processor, and good memory support, you will be able to experience smooth process performance, and with its 3D capabilities you can enjoy 3D gaming. But, the disappointing factor is that it comes with only 1 Gb internal memory. At such cost, where other smartphones are coming with 8-16GB inbuilt storage memory, HTC EVO has just 1 GB internal storage to offer. But, the lack of internal storage can be overcome, by an expandable micro sd slot, of upto 32 Gb.

The EVO 3D has a 4.3-inch 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen with a qHD resolution (540 x 960 pixel resolution) that shows off images in vivid colors and playbacks videos fluidly. Below the display there are four touch capacitive buttons – Home, Menu, Back, and Search, which are seen in most of the HTC smart phones. On its right lower side, there is a switch to change the display working in either 2D or 3D, also there is the dedicated camera click button next to it and the volume rocker keys are there on the right upper side. On its left ride, there is the USB/HDMI port, for data transmission and charging. While, the 3.5 mm audio jack and the power button sits on its top side.

On its back, EVO 3D features two 5 megapixel cameras with dual LED flash and auto focus features. The two cameras help you to click pictures and shoot videos in 3D. The handset also features a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera that lets you make video calls. Wen, you click for 3D photographs, the phone actually clicks it in 2 mega pixel resoulution, while the 2 D photographs are clicked in 5 mega pixel resolution. While, the HD movie is recorded in 2D and 3D mode is at 720px resolution.

The HTC EVO 3D comes with the regular sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.

The EVO 3D is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that has a capacity of 1730 mAh. The battery, when fully charged, can serve talk time up to 9 hours in 2G and up to 7 hours in 3G. In the 3D mode, the battery drain is faster, so its advisable to use the phone in 2D, when 3D content is not viewed.

You can connect to the Internet on HTC EVO 3D using 3G and Wi-Fi. You share your Internet connection with your laptop/computer with Wi-Fi hotspot and usb tethering feature. You can transfer your files either through USB or Bluetooth. You can watch videos and images taken from your HTC phone on the your television through DLNA sharing or HDMI cable.

The HTC EVO 3D also comes with SNS integration and preloaded Facebook and Twitter apps for you to share your world with your loved ones. Armed with A-GPS and Google Maps support you can be assured of never losing your track. You can also take your business with you as the EVO 3D is comes with pre installed applications like document viewer and editor, where you can read and edit Word, Excel and Presentation files.

While, buying HTC EVO 3D, one must consider that its a phone with all the features, which other smart phones have, it comes with its unique 3D feature, but its a bit hefty when compared to them and comes with internal storage of just 1 Gb. HTC EVO 3D Price in India is Rs.34200/-
