Simply press the KODAK Share button in review mode.
Select your favourite sharing destinations - FACEBOOK, YouTube, FLICKR, TWITTER, KODAK Gallery accounts (pictures only); and e-mail addresses you’ve added to your camera.
Connect PLAYSPORT to your computer with the USB cable provided and your videos and pictures will automatically be transferred to your computer and simultaneously uploaded to all tagged destinations.

Easy to transfer with built-in USB Arm
The built-in USB connector allows the PLAYFULL video camera to be connected to a compatible PC or MAC, and transfer video and still images without the need for extra cables. Thanks to KODAK’s exclusive Share button, videos will automatically be shared to your favourite social networks upon connection. And if you're running low on battery, you can even charge from your PC using the built-in USB arm.
Cool capture effects give a new look to your scenes
Looking for variety and creativity? Apply one of the five capture effects: black and white, sepia, normal colour, high saturation with bright, bold colours, or 70’s film with muted colours and a little graininess for a retro look.
Don’t let sun glare ruin your recording
For the ultimate on-camera viewing experience in bright light, turn on the LCD Brightness/Glare Shield feature in Setup. The Glare Shield feature will provide a choice of filters (normal, high contrast, or black and white) to help you better see your subject on the 1.5” LCD display screen in reflective outdoor situations. These filters are only applied to the display screen, not your footage—so everything you record will look as great as the moment you shot it.
Review mode
Select single and multi-up viewing options so you can quickly search and find favourite files in your on-camera collection. Video playback options include standard speed, fast-forward, rewind, pause, and single frame advance that makes it easy to find the perfect frame to extract and save as a still picture —all controlled right in the palm of your hand.
On Camera Editing
Editing videos on your computer can be a time consuming activity. KODAK PLAYFULL incorporates on-screen editing with simple controls so you can trim your videos right on the camera—both front and back--to save you time. Then choose ‘save’ to replace, or ‘save as’ to create a new file. On-screen editing also allows you to extract single frames from the video to grab that one amazing moment or a cool series of still photos.
Simple one-button operation
KODAK PLAYFULL is designed so you’ll never miss the moment. Power on and you are immediately ready to record with ultra-simple one-button operation—just press the Record button on the back once to start recording and a second time to stop recording. The built-in mono microphone and speakers will automatically record and playback recorded sound.
Smooth and stable features for sharper videos
Get sharper videos and less blur thanks to built-in digital image stabilization (DIS). Capture your friends in their best light with smart face tracking technology-- the camera detects and locks onto faces, then ensures great exposure around them. A 4x digital zoom makes sure you can get even closer to the action and capture all the finer details.
Up to 10 hours of recording time
There’s a SD/SDHC card slot which accepts up to a 32GB SD/SDHC card—separately purchased--(Class 4 or higher recommended for HD) that’s good for up to 10 hours of video (about 20 min per 1 GB at 720p HD, 30 fps). If you run out of memory on the go you can simply change to a new card. The KODAK PLAYFULL comes with a powerful internal Li-Ion rechargeable battery that recharges conveniently by connecting the built-in USB arm to a computer, or by attaching the mini-USB cable and adapter to a wall outlet.
Optional Remote Control
The optional KODAK remote control provides flexibility in both shooting and playback so you can shoot from a distance and even join the action you’re recording. Attach an optional tripod for even more shooting versatility. When you’re ready to playback video and pictures on your TV, you can use the remote control to run the show comfortably from your favourite chair across the room.
Software
The first time you connect the PLAYFULL video camera to your computer, KODAK’s Share Button app (a small software program) will automatically launch and prompt you to add login information for your online sharing sites and email address. After that one-time setup, pictures will automatically be uploaded to the sharing destinations you’ve chosen just as soon as you connect your camera to your computer.
You’ll also be prompted to install ARCSOFT MEDIAIMPRESSION for KODAK Software (PC only) that’s installed on PLAYFULL and provides additional editing features beyond trimming and single frame extraction that are available directly on PLAYFULL. If you’re a Mac user, no worries, you can use APPLE iLIFE software for editing. With ARCSOFT MEDIAIMPRESSION for KODAK Software you can use the ‘movie maker’ feature to edit clips, add text screens for titles at the beginning and credits at the end of a movie, sequence a number of clips to tell your story, add a voice-over to narrate your footage, add pictures and music to make cool mash-ups, and use EasyPrint to print jpgs on your printer. You can also change resolution, or use the media converter to change file format, including AVI, and transcode your videos for viewing on other common devices like an iPOD or KODAK picture frame—even burn DVD’s (including BLU-RAY-compatible format) for viewing on TV and archiving.
