Xtab A10 Tablet seems to be a Chinese manufactured tablet, and rebranded and distributed by NXG Electronics Pvt Ltd, a firm based in Pune. The company claims Xtab A10 Tablet to be the cheapest tab with Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwitch operating system. XTAB A10 tablet is powered by 1.5Ghz Cortex A8 processor and has DDR3 512MB RAM.
XTAB A10 has a multi-touch capacitive display. The tablet has a 7″ capacitive multi-touch display with resolution of 800 * 480 and display Ratio of 16:09. The storage can be increased with an external 32mb microsd card. You can download apps for Xtab tablet from Android Marketplace or else the company also provides bunch of apps available on its website for free download.
While reviewing Xtab A10 Tablet, you can't expect the tab to be of thin. It weighs 360 g. But the best part is the tablet has a capacitive screen and with latest Android 4.0 OS, which is difficult to find at such price. The Xtab is more of square shaped than a usual rectangular ones. The tablet has a glossy finish at its back, which looks descent. The shortcomings you may find in the Xtab A10 tab is that there is no Bluetooth -so no sharing of files,music,video,etc with your friends, no SIM -so no phone callings, and no GPS -so no navigation while travelling.
Overall the Xtab A10 tablet seems to be a good buy featured with such specs and features when compared to its price. The XTAB A10 is available in two models 4GB and 8GB internal storage. 4GB model price is Rs.5490 whereas 8GB model price is Rs.6490.
